The School Report That Wasn’t Quite Ready

There was only one thing on his mind that morning.

The school report.

He had to give a presentation about the brain in front of his class.

It sounded simple enough.

But there was one small problem.

He hadn’t prepared much.

Fortunately, his best friend was there to help.

His friend proudly announced that he had prepared a visual aid for the presentation.

The boy looked over.

“What’s that?”

His friend opened a paper bag.

Inside was something that looked surprisingly like a brain.

Or at least, he thought it looked like one.

“I cooked some noodles and put them in a paper bag,” his friend explained proudly.

“Doesn’t that look like brains?”

The boy stared at it.

For a moment, he didn’t know whether to laugh or be impressed.

But at least they had something to show the class.

“Well, I guess I’m all set,” his friend said.

The boy suddenly remembered something important.

“Did you write your report yet?”

There was a brief silence.

His friend hadn’t.

Not even a single page.

But he wasn’t worried.

He had already found the perfect solution.

“Nah,” he said casually.

“I borrowed my mom’s pocket dictionary.”

The boy looked confused.

“What are you going to do with that?”

His friend smiled.

“I’ll do it on the bus.”

And just like that, they headed off to school.

One had a bag full of “brains.”

The other had no report.

But somehow, both of them were completely confident that everything would work out.

Because when you’re a student with a little creativity, a pocket dictionary, and a bus ride to school…

anything is possible. 😂

And who knows?

Maybe the teacher would be more impressed by the noodle brain than the actual report.
